The Advanced Placement Program is committed to expanding the invitation to students to challenge themselves with college-level coursework and career preparation.  \n§ In the “Speeches” section of the Course and Exam Description, the list of speechmakers has been updated with speakers who have appeared on recent AP exams and who represent a range of political backgrounds.  \n§ Examples of specific authors and texts have been removed because the discipline is vast, and valuable written, spoken, and visual rhetoric is always being created.
