This study evaluates the anticancer activity of isalpinin, a flavonoid isolated from Paphiopedilum dianthum, against NSCLC cell lines A549, H23, and H460. Isalpinin markedly reduces viability in a dose- and time-dependent manner, suppressing proliferation, migration, and anchorage-independent growth. This study investigated the anticancer potential of isalpinin, a flavonoid isolated from Paphiopedilum dianthum, against non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cell lines A549, H23, and H460 . Isalpinin significantly inhibited NSCLC cell viability in a dose-and timedependent manner; H23 and H460 cells showed greater sensitivity (IC 50 a ~ 44 µM at 48 h) compared to A549 cells (IC 50 82 µM) . Isalpinin suppressed proliferation, migration, and anchorage-independent growth, particularly in H23/H460 cells. Mechanistically, it induced apoptosis via increased ROS production and Bcl-2 downregulation, particularly in H23 and H460 cells. In a molecular docking analysis, isalpinin was found to directly bind to the ATP-binding pocket of AKT1, as confirmed by reduced Akt/GSK3β phosphorylation. These results suggest that isalpinin showed a potent multi-target natural compound against NSCLC that disrupts the key hallmarks of malignanc","cbCaid16NpIiCPwb","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaid16NpIiCPwb","pdf",5037305,27,"English","# Abstract\n# Introduction","[{\"question\":\"What compound is investigated, and where is it isolated from?\",\"answer\":\"The study investigates isalpinin, a flavonoid isolated from Paphiopedilum dianthum.\"},{\"question\":\"Which NSCLC cell lines are used to test anticancer effects?\",\"answer\":\"Anticancer activity is evaluated in NSCLC cell lines A549, H23, and H460.\"},{\"question\":\"How does isalpinin induce anticancer mechanisms in NSCLC cells?\",\"answer\":\"Isalpinin suppresses viability and key cancer behaviors and induces apoptosis associated with increased ROS production and Bcl-2 downregulation, with docking suggesting direct binding to AKT1.\"}]","Antitumor Activity of Isalpinin from Paphiopedilum dianthum on Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Cell Lines | PDF",1790217806,68,{"code":4,"msg":82,"data":100},[101,105,109,113,118,123,126,130,135,138,142],{"id":22,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":102,"show_sort_weight":103,"slug":104},"Story & Novel",90,"story-novel",{"id":26,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":106,"show_sort_weight":107,"slug":108},"Literature",80,"literature",{"id":33,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":110,"show_sort_weight":111,"slug":112},"Exam",70,"exam",{"id":114,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":115,"show_sort_weight":116,"slug":117},5,"Comic",60,"comic",{"id":119,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":120,"show_sort_weight":121,"slug":122},6,"Technology",50,"technology",{"id":86,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":29,"show_sort_weight":124,"slug":125},40,"healthcare",{"id":55,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":127,"show_sort_weight":128,"slug":129},"Research & Report",30,"research-report",{"id":131,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":132,"show_sort_weight":133,"slug":134},9,"Religion & Spirituality",20,"religion-spirituality",{"id":133,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":136,"show_sort_weight":133,"slug":137},"World Cup","world-cup",{"id":139,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":140,"show_sort_weight":139,"slug":141},10,"Lifestyle","lifestyle",{"id":143,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":25,"category_name":144,"show_sort_weight":114,"slug":145},19,"General","general"]
