It is also the last AnnualReport forthe outgone 2017-2021 Accounting Authority. \n• The period under review experienced unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic and steep learning curve in navigating andunderstanding the dynamicsand complexities of regulating the teaching profession under the pandemic. \n• Council has been able to service its members, although under limited conditions. Therefore, it acknowledges that someof the service and performance standards affected by the entity’s inadequate systems and oversight during the nationallockdown periods, may not beat the desired levels as reflected in the AGSA presentation to the Portfolio Committee andAPP programmes. \n• Consequently, poor performance has been observed in programmes such as, the Professional Development and EthicalStandards, for some internal reasons and those that were beyond Council’s control.. \n• Through the developed remedial action plan and oversight processes, Council is committed to draw lessons from theperiod under review and improve its services to the teaching profession and business operations systems forthe better. \nDRAFT TEACHERS SUBJECT \n9 \n## Performance Delivery Environment Cont …\n\n\n| 2019/2020 | 2020/2021 |\n| --- | --- |\n| 11 APP INDICATORS | 27 APP INDICATORS |\n| 7 (64%) ACHIEVED | 14 (52%) ACHIEVED |\n\n• Additional 4","cbCaidSUis0K5Ity","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaidSUis0K5Ity","pdf",1415969,62,"English","# Purpose\n## To report on:\n# Presentation Outline\n## PART A: Overview of the Service Delivery Environment and Context\n## PART B: Programme Performance\n## PART C: Annual Financial Statements\n# Programmes of SACE\n# Vision\n# SACE Values of the Teaching Profession\n# Legislative and Policy Environment\n# Performance Delivery Environment Cont","[{\"question\":\"What are the purposes of the annual report presentation?\",\"answer\":\"To report SACE achievements and challenges for 2020/21, performance against planned Annual Performance Plan targets, and the council’s expenditure for the same financial year.\"},{\"question\":\"Which programme areas are structured in the SACE Annual Performance Plan 2020/21?\",\"answer\":\"The plan structures activities into five programmes: Administration, Registration, Ethics, Continuing Professional Teacher Development Management (System), and Professional Standards.\"},{\"question\":\"What factors contributed to the 12% performance decline in 2020/21 compared with 2019/2020?\",\"answer\":\"COVID-19 pandemic disruptions in schooling affected Programme 3 and Programme 4, alongside internal systems and processes that were not adequate to mitigate the situation.\"}]","ANNUAL REPORT PRESENTATION TO THE PORTFOLIO COMMITTEE ON BASIC EDUCATION - 23 NOVEMBER 2021 | PDF",1792379581,156]
