Please delete these notes before printing  \nAn Easy Way to Water Seeds (and Tree Seedlings)  \nWatering trees and seeds that you have planted can be hard work, especially in the dry season.  \nHere is a plan to make it easier.  \nGet some large old tin cans or plastic bottles.  \nYou will need one for each seed or tree you have planted  \nPunch a few small holes in the bottom and sides of your cans or bottles.  \nBury the cans or bottles upright in the soil, about 16 to 20 inches (40-50 cms) away from each tree or seed that you have planted.  \nMake sure that the top of the container is level with the ground.  \nIn the dry season, fill each can or bottle with water from the tap or well.  \nCover the container with a stone or sheet of wood.
