centressituated in56 different cities of the country.Total2,51,968 candidates appearedin the examination.Out of total 2,51,968 candidates,total 1,65,613 malecandidates,total 86,336 female candidates and total19 transgender candidateswere appeared in the All India Bar Exam-XX,reflecting wide participation fromaspiring advocates across the nation.The Examination was conductedsmoothly and in an orderly manner,ensuring fairness,transparency andadherence to the prescribed norms.  \nThe All India Bar Examination was conducted in the direct supervision &guidance of the Monitoring Committee of All India Bar Examination of BarCouncil of India headed by Hon'ble Ms.Justice Hima Kohli,Former Judge,Supreme Court of India,Prof.(Dr.)Manoj Kumar Sinha,Vice-Chancellor,Dharmashastra National Law University,Jabalpur,Madhya Pradesh and Prof.(Dr.)Sanjeevi Shanthakumar,Director,Gujarat National Law University,Gandhinagar,Gujarat were the members of the Monitoring Committee,whereas Prof.(Dr.)R.Venkata Rao,Vice-Chancellor,India InternationalUniversity of Legal Education and Research (IIULER),Goa &Former Vice-Chancellor,National Law School of India University,Bengaluru and Prof.(Dr.)V.C.Vivekanandan,Vice-Chancellor,Hidayatullah National Law University(HNLU),Raipur,Chhattisgarh were special invitees to the MonitoringCommittee of All India Bar Examination of Bar Council of India.  \nSubsequent to All India Bar Examination-XX,provisional answer key wereuploaded and objections were invited from the candidates on the Question &Answer key.All the objections received were minutely examined by SubjectOversight Committee and their report was placed before the MonitoringCommittee of All India Bar Examination of Bar Council of India and theMonitoring Committee after careful consideration and due deliberationdecided to withdraw total 5 out of 100 Questions being the wrongQuestion/Answer key.In addition to that Monitoring Committee decided toaward full marks to the candidate for opting either of the two answers for twoquestions,which were found to have two correct answers.  \n—2—  \nTherefore,result was directed to be calculated on the basis of 95 marks.Accordingly,qualifying marks for General/OBC Category Candidates is 43(45%of 95 marks after rounding off)and qualifying marks for SC/ST/PwDCategory candidates is 38(40%of 95 marks).The Bar Council of India is goingto declare the result of AIBE-XXtoday.The overall pass percentage of AllIndiaBar Examination-XX stands at 69.21%,indicating the performance standardsachieved by the
