Player 1 then has to choose one of the equations, and use the value of n to workout the final value of the equation. If the final value is equal to the number on the VALUE grid they have selected, they can cover the selected equation with a counter. If the final value does not equal the value on the right mini grid, then they cannot cover it up. \n• The second player now moves each of the mini-counters one or two places along the lines to two new numbers. The second player then works out their new equation value using the new value of n. If the final answer of the equation is equal to the selected number on the VALUE grid, they may place one of their counters on the equation on the board. \n• Play continues until a player manages to cover up 4 counters in a row. \n• If a player cannot go, or gets an answer wrong, then play passes to the next player. \n• The first player that covers up 4 in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally) is the winner! \nVariations \n• Alternative winning strategies: \no Play the game for a set amount of time. Each time a player makes 3 counters in a row, they may remove one of their opponent’s counters from the board. The winner is the player with the most counters on the board at the end of the time. \no Play the game until all the squares on the board have been filled up. The winner is the player with the most counters on the board. \n• Roll a dice to generate the number for n instead of moving the counter along. Example \nIf the n counter was on number 2, and the VALUE counter was on number 8, then you could cover up 2(6-n) or 2n+4, with a counter. \n| n 2-1 | 2(n+1) | 3(n-1) | 3(4-n) |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| 8/n | 3n-2 | 10-2n | (n-1)3 |\n| 2(6-n) | (n-1)2 | 3n | 4n-6 |\n| n 2-n | 10-n2 | (5-n)2 | 3n-4 |\n| 8-2n | 4+2n | n(n+1) | n 2 +n |","cbCaiffhh1pKwZas","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiffhh1pKwZas","pdf",213589,"English","# Game Setup\n## Winning Condition\n# How to Play\n## Variations\n# Example Equation Values","[{\"question\":\"How do players determine whether they can cover an equation?\",\"answer\":\"A player substitutes the current n value into the chosen equation to get a final result.
