Air is just air!  \nThat evening the lightening was flashing. The thunder was crashing. Flash! Bang! I couldn’t get to sleep so I pulled the blanket tightly up over my head. It became very stuffy under the blanket and the air became stale from my hot sweaty body.  \nI needed to bring my head out from under the blanket.  \nThe thunder and lightning turned into a really bad storm with very strong winds. When I woke in the morning I saw that the roof had been blown off our kitchen hut. What a terrible mess! My mother wasn’t able to give us any breakfast until we had all helped to clean up.  \nMy father asked,“Will you come with me to town to buy some new tin for the roof?” I was pleased because I love going to town with father. As we waited at the road for a taxi a huge truck went by covering me with gassy fumes from the exhaust. The fumes made me cough!  \nWhen the taxi arrived I squeezed in next to a woman and her husband, and my father was next to the door. After a little while the husband got out his cigarettes and smoked. He blew the smoke into my face. I felt sick!  \nWe got the new tin for the roof at a good price. On the way home my father let me sit by the taxi window. At the edge of town someone was burning tyres in a big pile. Black smoke was billowing across the road. Ugh! I closed the taxi window.  \nWhen we got home my father thanked me for my help and told me to go and play soccer with my friends.  \nWe played hard for a while and then the ball began to go floppy. Oh no! The ball had a puncture.
