Read carefully before attempting to assemble, install, operate or maintain the product described. Protect yourself and others by observing all safety information. Failure to comply with instructions may result in personal injury and/or property damage! Retain instructions for future reference. \nSymbols \nIn this manual and/or the machine the following symbols are used; \n\n| | Warning/ Danger | | Wear ear protection. |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| | Read manual before use. | | Wear eye protection. |\n| | In accordance with essential applicable safety standards of European directives. | | |\n\n General power tools safety warnings \nWorking area \n• Keep working area clean and well lit. Dark areas can lead to accidents. \n• Do not operate power tools in potentially explosive surroundings, for example, in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes. \n• Keep children and bystanders at a distance when operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control of the power tool. \nElectrical safety \nAlways check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the \nrating plate. \n• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the compressor. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock. \n• When operating a compressor outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. \n• Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock. \n• Do not use in rain or humid conditions. Water ingress increases the risk of a short circuit. \n• Avoid accidental starting of the tool. Make sure the switch is “OFF” before connecting the power cord to the grid. \n• Do not overload the compressor. Do not use power tools for a purpose other than those for which they are intended. \n• Ensure the compressor is disconnected from the mains supply prior to inspecting cleaning. \nRS PRO 632-221 \nPersonal safety \n• Always use ear and eye protection when working with the machine or performing maintenance. \n• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from the power tool. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can become entangled in moving parts. \nService \nYour power tool should be serviced by a qualified specialist using only OEM spare parts. This will ensure that it meets PCL’s required safety standards. \nSpecific safety instructions for air compressors \nWARNING! Make sure that both air consumption and maximum effective pressure of pneumatic tools are compatible with the pressure set by the pressure switch and the volume of air supplied by the compressor. \n• During operation the compressor and pipes reach high temperatures. Contact causes burns. Ensure PPE is worm at all times (Gloves, Ear defenders, Goggles) \n• Keep a minimum distance of 4 meters between the compressor and working area.• \n• The compressor gases must not contain substances that could lead to fire or explosion. \n• During operation, to ensure correct lubrication, the compressor must be placed on a stable horizontal surface. \n• To ensure optimal cooling, the compressor should be placed at a minimum distance of \n50 cm from the wall. \n• When uncoupling, take care to avoid injury from hose whip. \n• Always wear safety goggles to protect your eyes from flying objects. \n• Do not weld the tank. In the case of faults or corrosion, replace immediately. \n• Avoid using air pipes and power extension cables with excessive length. \n• To extend operating life, the compressor must be used in a suitable environment (well \nventilated), and never in places affected by dust, acid, vapours, explosive or flammable gas. Use at an ambient temperature of between + 5°C and + 40°C. \n• Always use PCL quick release couplings and adaptors (QRC) \nApplication \nThis","cbCaimItlvKbxBOJ","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaimItlvKbxBOJ","pdf",2337195,14,"English","# Symbols\n# General power tools safety warnings\n## Working area\n## Electrical safety\n## Personal safety\n## Service\n# Specific safety instructions for air compressors\n# Application\n# Piston Compressors Description\n# Oil Free Compressors Description\n# Operation","[{\"question\":\"What precautions must be followed before using the air compressor?\",\"answer\":\"Read and follow all safety information in the manual before assembling, installing, operating, or maintaining the compressor, and retain the instructions for future reference.
