It explains how electronic CD-ROM and printed manuals provide information linked to Warranty and other product support functions. The manual details the three attached categories—Location, Information Type, and Product—used to locate descriptions, technical specifications, functional data, diagnostic fault codes and troubleshooting, and service procedures. It also outlines the manual structure into Sections and Chapters with contents pages and indexes, plus Section grouping by machine functions.","REPAIR MANUAL \nAFX8010 \nINTRODUCTION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS POWER PRODUCTION POWER TRAIN TRAVELLING \nBODY AND STRUCTURE TOOL POSITIONING CROP PROCESSING \nA B \nC D \nE G \nK \nINTRODUCTION \nContents \nINTRODUCTION \nForeword ( -A.10.A.40) 3 AFX8010 \nForeword ( -A.10.A.40) \nAFX8010 \nTechnical Information \nThis manual has been produced by a new technical information system. This new system is designed to deliver technical information electronically through CDROM and in paper manuals. A coding system called ICE has been developed to link the technical information to other Product Support functions e.g. Warranty. \nTechnical information is written to support the maintenance and service of the functions or systems on a customers machine. When a customer has a concern on his machine it is usually because a function or system on his machine is not working at all, is not working efficiently, or is not responding correctly to his commands. When you refer to the technical information in this manual to resolve that customers concern, you will find all the information classified using the new ICE coding, according to the functions or systems on that machine. Once you have located the technical information for that function or system then you will find all the mechanical, electrical or hydraulic devices, components, assemblies and sub-assemblies for that function or system. You will also find all the types of information that have been written for that function or system, the technical data (specifications), the functional data (how it works), the diagnostic data (fault codes and troubleshooting) and the service data (remove, install adjust, etc.) . \nBy integrating this new ICE coding into technical information , you will be able to search and retrieve just the right piece of technical information you need to resolve that customers concern on his machine. This is made possible by attaching 3 categories to each piece of technical information during the authoring process. \nThe first category is the Location, the second category is the Information Type and the third category is the Product: \n• LOCATION- is the component or function on the machine, that the piece of technical information is going to describe e.g. Fuel tank. \n• INFORMATION TYPE- is the piece of technical information that has been written for a particular component or function on the machine e.g. Capacity would be a type of Technical Data that would describe the amount of fuel held by the Fuel tank. \n• PRODUCT- is the model that the piece of technical information is written for. \nEvery piece of technical information will have those 3 categories attached to it. You will be able to use any combination of those categories to find the right piece of technical information you need to resolve that customers concern on his machine. \nThat information could be: \n• the description of how to remove the cylinder head \n• a table of specifications for a hydraulic pump \n• a fault code \n• a troubleshooting table \n• a special tool \nHow to Use this Manual \nThis manual is divided into Sections. Each Section is then divided into Chapters. Contents pages are included atthe beginning of the manual, then inside every Section and inside every Chapter. An alphabetical Index is included at the end of a Chapter. Page number references are included for every piece of technical information listed in the Chapter Contents or Chapter Index. \nEach Chapter is divided into four Information types: \n• Technical Data (specifications) for all the mechanical, electrical or hydraulic devices, components and, assemblies. \n• Functional Data (how it works) for all the mechanical, electrical or hydraulic devices, components and assemblies. \n• Diagnostic Data (fault codes, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting) for all the mechanical, electrical or hydraulic devices, components and assemblies. \n• Service data (remove disassembly, assemble, install) for all the mechanical, electrical or hydraulic","cbCaiqCt2vrtgSk1","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiqCt2vrtgSk1","pdf",37748186,2688,"English","en",105,"# INTRODUCTION\n## Foreword\n## Technical Information\n## How to Use this Manual\n## Sections","[{\"question\":\"What is the ICE coding system used for in this manual?\",\"answer\":\"ICE is a coding system designed to link technical information to other Product Support functions such as Warranty, and to help you search and retrieve the right information to resolve customer concerns.\"},{\"question\":\"How are technical information entries organized for searching?\",\"answer\":\"Each piece of technical information includes three categories: Location, Information Type, and Product, allowing combinations to quickly find relevant information.\"},{\"question\":\"What information types does each chapter section include?\",\"answer\":\"Chapters include four information types: Technical Data (specifications), Functional Data (how it works), Diagnostic Data (fault codes and troubleshooting), and Service data (remove/install/adjust procedures).\"}]","AFX8010 Repair Manual - ICE Technical Information System - How to Use This Manual | PDF",1793774825,6774,{"code":4,"msg":82,"data":83},"ok",{"site_id":75,"language":74,"slug":84,"title":65,"keywords":85,"description":66,"schema_data":86,"social_meta":139,"head_meta":141,"extra_data":143,"updated_unix":79},"afx8010-repair-manual-ice-technical-information-system-how-to-use-this-manual","",{"@graph":87,"@context":138},[88,102,121],{"@type":89,"itemListElement":90},"BreadcrumbList",[91,95,97,100],{"item":92,"name":93,"@type":94,"position":8},"https://docshare.wps.com","Home","ListItem",{"item":96,"name":9,"@type":94,"position":14},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/",{"item":98,"name":30,"@type":94,"position":99},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/technology/",3,{"item":101,"name":65,"@type":94,"position":19},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/afx8010-repair-manual-ice-technical-information-system-how-to-use-this-manual/676090/",{"url":101,"name":65,"@type":103,"image":104,"author":109,"headline":65,"publisher":111,"fileFormat":114,"inLanguage":74,"description":66,"dateModified":115,"datePublished":115,"encodingFormat":114,"isAccessibleForFree":116,"interactionStatistic":117},"DigitalDocument",{"url":105,"@type":106,"width":107,"height":108},"https://docshare.wps.com/thumbnails/afx8010-repair-manual-ice-technical-information-system-how-to-use-this-manual/676090.png","ImageObject",300,407,{"name":63,"@type":110},"Person",{"url":92,"name":112,"@type":113},"DocShare","Organization","application/pdf","2026-11-04",true,{"@type":118,"interactionType":119,"userInteractionCount":8},"InteractionCounter",{"@type":120},"ViewAction",{"@type":122,"mainEntity":123},"FAQPage",[124,130,134],{"name":125,"@type":126,"acceptedAnswer":127},"What is the ICE coding system used for in this manual?","Question",{"text":128,"@type":129},"ICE is a coding system designed to link technical information to other Product Support functions such as Warranty, and to help you search and retrieve the right information to resolve customer concerns.","Answer",{"name":131,"@type":126,"acceptedAnswer":132},"How are technical information entries organized for searching?",{"text":133,"@type":129},"Each piece of technical information includes three categories: Location, Information Type, and Product, allowing combinations to quickly find relevant information.",{"name":135,"@type":126,"acceptedAnswer":136},"What information types does each chapter section include?",{"text":137,"@type":129},"Chapters include four information types: Technical Data (specifications), Functional Data (how it works), Diagnostic Data (fault codes and troubleshooting), and Service data (remove/install/adjust procedures).","https://schema.org",{"og:url":101,"og:type":140,"og:title":65,"og:site_name":112,"og:description":66},"article",{"robots":142,"canonical":101},"index,follow",{"doc_id":61,"site_id":75}]
