Last season, she starred in her own play, Mad Madge, which was produced by Nightwood Theatre with Video Cabaret. Her musical adaptation of Mavis Gallant's, The Carette Sisters, with Suzy Wilde was nominated for the Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding New Musical ( as part of MSC's RETOLD series). Other plays include: Innocents (winner of PGC's Tom Hendry Comedy Award) and Lo ( or Dear Mr. Wells ) nominated for the Dora for Outstanding New Play. Onstage, she has recently played Kristina Verner in Michael Healey's The Master Plan and the title character in K at Sandler's Wildwoman. Onscreen, she has developed and written on various television shows for CBC, Bell/Crave, Cameron Pictures, Shaftesbury, Circle Blue. She is an alumna of the Canadian Film Centre where she now teaches writing for actors.  \nSuzy Wilde is a Canadian songwriter, composer, producer, arranger, teacher, choir director, and live performer based in Toronto.  \nSome of her favourite recent projects include The Carrette Sisters (part of Retold, a collective adaptation of Mavis Gallant, with book writer Rose Napoli/ Musical Stage Company) for which she received her first Dora nomination, The Great Pause- a verbatim choral suite (with book writer Zorana Sadiq/ Community Music Schools of Toronto), the Toronto Fringe hit Summerland (with Anika Johnson and Barbara Johnston/ Edge of the Sky Theatre) and Patron’s Pick Fringe hit The Crack of Doom or: How I Learned to Love the Meteor (with Matt Bernard, Bravo Academy).  \nAs a live musician and vocalist, Suzy has been performing and touring for most of her career.
