And it was in Haran that God spoke to Abram.  \nGod told Abram,“Leave this country and go toa land that I will show you. I will give you many descendants there and you will become a great nation.”  \n“I will bless you and make you famous. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you badly. And through you I will bless all the peoples on earth.”  \nSo Abram did as God commanded.
