He took his wife, Sarai, and all his possessions with him. He had no son at that time. Later he settled at Hebron near the great trees in Mamre. There the LORD made an agreement with Abram and promised that a son would be born to him.  \nWhen Abram was 99 years old, the LORD renewed his promise to him. From that time on Abram and Sarai were called Abraham and Sarah. God reminded Abraham and Sarah that Sarah would bear a son even though she was 90 years old and he would be the father of a great nation.  \nbased on Genesis 12:1-5; 15:1-4; 17:1-6, 15-19  \nThe LORD appeared to Abraham at the sacred trees of Mamre. As Abraham was sitting at the entrance of his tent during the hottest part of the day, he looked up and saw three men standing there.  \nGenesis 18:1-2a  \nAs soon as he saw them, he ran out to meet them. Bowing down with his face touching the ground, he said,“Sirs, please do not pass by my home without stopping; I am here to serve you.  \nGenesis 18:2b-3  \nLet me bring some water for you to wash your feet; you can rest here beneath this tree.  \nGenesis 18:4  \nI will also bring a bit of food; it will give you strength to continue your journey. You have honored me by coming to my home, so let me  \n”  \nserve you.  \nThey replied,“Thank you; we accept.”  \nGenesis 18:5  \nAbraham hurried into the tent and said to Sarah,“Quick, take a sack of
