became a symbol ofperseverance for SMK Tinggi Ka-jang here,proving that even themost daunting medical battlescould not extinguish the flame ofambition.  \nHe had been hospitalised manytimes since December 2022,buthis SPM results were a remark-able feat:scoring only As and Bsin all subjects.  \nHe had spent most of the pasttwo years studying on a hospitalbed.  \nWhile his peers were in class-rooms,he was battling his illness,often forced to self-study whileundergoing treatment.  \n\"I've been hospitalised toomany times to count,\"he said,reflecting on his long months ofrecovery.  \n“But Inever gave up.I took theextra effort to study even when Iwas hospitalised because IknewIwanted a future.\"  \nHis perseverance has put him  \non the path to achieving hisdream of becoming an interiordesigner.  \nFernandez,who plans to pur-sue his studies at UniversitiTeknologi Mara,credited his suc-cess to his faith and family.  \n\"Without them,I don'tknow ifIwould be here.My message the culture of collec-tive commitment saw a wave ofstudents achieving excellent re-sults.  \nHeadmaster Fareed FaheemMohd Elyas,who helmed theschool in October,said the SPMsuccess was the result of intense  \ndedication from both staff mem-bers and students.  \n“We had extra classes startingas early as 7.10am.We even hadclasses during the holidays.  \n\"The most heartening thingwas that the teachers weren'tforced to come;they wanted to behere.The students shared thatsame hunger.\"⑦  \nTop scorer Kaartic Mahendran,  \n18,said while the academic rigourwas high,the emotional supportfrom teachers made the differ-ence.  \n\"The teachers were a great sup-port,morally and emotionally.When we were down,they werethe first to notice and be there forus.They are experts in their fieldsand guided us every step of theway,\"said Kaartic,who achieveda perfect score of11AS.  \nFor district-level footballer ArifDaniel,who also scored straightAs,his SPM journey was aboutovercoming his weakest subject,Mathematics.  \n\"I failed once with ascore of 21,\"he said.  \nDriven by his parents'empha-sis on education,he transformedthat failing grade into an A whilealso maintaining his commit-ment to
