the sixth chapter.Imean,of course, verses 53 through 58. \nJesus:You know I love you and willlisten carefully. \nPilgrim:Dear Jesus, that's why I came to You again.Every timeI read these words Iam taken up into a magnificent world of pow-erful mystery.I just have a really tough time explaining how Ifeel.Your flesh and Your blood!Ogreat and holy One,I kneel inhumble adoration. Please help me to understand,at least,in anelementary fashion what this is all about. \nJesus:Remember,my son,it takes genuine humility and sincerityto begin to know Me better. \nPilgrim:So many times over the years I have experienced Yourbody and blood in Holy Communion as a dull act of scheduledworship, yearning to be free. There was so much more to be feltand appreciated! It is as though You desired deeply to be so muchcloser and meaningful but just couldn't.This makes me so sad. There was an awesome greatness and powerful love waiting toburst forth but,Lord,it just didn't happen! In agony I watched andwaited.Decent people went through the motions. Some, includingmyself, even knelt in prayer but it just didn't happen. \nJesus:I gave and continue to give My body.I gave and continueto give My blood.Do you and others actually want to eat My fleshand drink My blood from My priests and pastors or deep down doyou only seek a bit of solace for the moment? \nPilgrim:Please be merciful to me,Lord.I want all the spiritualgrandeur these verses from Saint John's Gospel offer.I long forthat perfect promised closeness.Sometimes in great pain I sufferto have this unique gift of Yourself that guarantees Your true pres-ence.Lord,I beg of You,please hear me out.The Holy Spirit ismoving mightily in my life and others. We believe our desire comesfrom undefiled motivation.I am not afraid, only frustrated anddisappointed by the Holy Communion being so much less thanwhat I believe You surely intended.Your children seem to be oftensitting at a banquet table offering Your flesh and blood but they arestarving,or at least, seriously malnourished! \nJesus:Do you remember what I said to you recently?Let merefresh your memory:\"Do not judge others and God will not judgeyou.Do not condemn others and God will not condemn you.For-give others and God will forgive you.\"Think on this and focus onMy Crucifixion. \nPilgrim:Savior of my soul, please forgive again all my sins ofomission and commission.I trust You with my life and death.Iwant somehow for Your body to become my body.I want someway for Your blood to become my blood.I give You myself—fully, totally, and completely.I really have nothing else to offer. \nJesus:Are you sure there are no reservations","cbCaik9J2US4GAfS","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaik9J2US4GAfS","pdf",2923629,"English","# Prelude\n## The Truth (John 6:53)\n##
