more advancedeountries of Fur-America,a bye-product of theexploitation of one class by another.  \n7  \nThe Indian poverty problem is to be envisag-ed]as,essentially speaking,a question of un-employment on a vast,continental scale.Howto combat this huge unemployment or,in otherwords,to create myriads of employments,profes-sions or careers and add to the stream of valuesis the problem of the poverty-doctor.This isthe task that economic development seeks tosolve.  \n## Industrialism the Oure for Poverty\n\nTheoretically,the doctoring is quite simple.Let the economic activities of the industrial workers,and hundreds of thousands as\"engineers,chemistsbank-managers,insurance-agents,offce-clerks andwhat not.The factories and workshops will becompelled in their own interest or through pres-sure from the people and the government to openelementary as well as vocational schools for thetraining of apprentices,and research inatitutesas well as technical colleges for the supply
