They will study highlights of Hispanic artistic culture, including a focus on Spanish regional identity and the cultural heritage of past civilisations. They will learn about aspects of the diverse political landscape of the Hispanic world. \nStudents will explore the influence of the past on present-day Hispanic communities. Throughout their studies, they learn the language in the context of Hispanic countries and issues and influences which have shaped them. Students will study texts and film and will have the opportunity to carry out independent research on an area of their choice. \nAssessment tasks will be varied and cover listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. \nTeach AS and A-level together \nThe AS course is fully co-teachable with the first year of the A-level course, enabling flexibility for students as they plan their course of study and for teachers as you plan your teaching. \n1.2 Support and resources to help you teach \nWe’ve worked with experienced teachers to provide you with a range of resources that will help you confidently plan, teach and prepare for exams. \nTeaching resources \n[Visit](Visit aqa.org.uk/7692 to see all)[ ](Visit aqa.org.uk/7692 to see all)[aqa.org.uk/7692](Visit aqa.org.uk/7692 to see all)[ to see all](Visit aqa.org.uk/7692 to see all) our teaching resources.
