was,love,bob-bing on his face like a baby in the ocean,safe and floating on the wreck-age of a plane crash.I didn't even care he couldn't remember he alreadyloved me.After you've spent fourteen months pining after your hus-band,aching for your fatherless children,missing stuff as ordinary asyour sweet man's toes on yours while you drift off to sleep,well,thenyou'll know how terrifying hope can be.
