The higher the percentage the easier the question. On the 2007 Test percentages ranged for all question between 50% to 92% . \nItems released by ODE Assembled by Brice Harris, TCESC. 1of 5 \n7th Grade Aligned OAT Test Item Answers (2007-2009) \nShort Answer Rubrics and Explainations \nQuestion 5 (Item 11 2007 8th Grade OAT) \nExplanation of Correct Answer: \nThe map shows that a cold front is moving through Cleveland, which will create cloudy skies and maybe storms on Sunday. Cold fronts bring in dense (heavy) air, which moves under warmer air that may have been in front of it. This can make puffy, cotton-like clouds and rain showers or thunderstorms. On Tuesday, a high pressure system has moved into the Cleveland area. High pressure systems bring in clear skies. \n[Note to Scorers: Credit will be given for a factor if correct reasoning is demonstrated even if information not given in the prompt is inaccurate (information for which the student is not responsible).] \n4 Points: \nThe answer gives the right weather predictions (including sky conditions and chance of precipitation) for both Sunday and Tuesday and a correct reason for each prediction. \n3 Points: \nThe answer gives correct predictions for both Sunday and Tuesday, but the reason for one of the days is incorrect, unclear or missing. \n2 Points: \nThe answer gives one correct prediction with a reason, but an incorrect prediction on the other day OR \nthe answer gives correct predictions for both days but has incorrect, unclear or missing reasons for both days. \n1 Point: \nThe answer gives the correct prediction for one day but has an incorrect, unclear or missing reason for that day. \n0 Points: \nThe answer fails to provide a correct prediction for either day. The response does not meet the criteria required to earn one point. The response indicates inadequate or no understanding of the task and/or the idea or concept needed to answer the item. It may only repeat information given in the test item. The response may provide an incorrect solution/response and the provided supportive information may be totally irrelevant to the item, or possibly, no other information is shown. The response may name the days of the week without supporting information. The student may have written on a different topic or written, “I don’t know.” \nItems released by ODE Assembled by Brice Harris, TCESC. 2of 5 \n7th Grade A","cbCaig21hZGME8n1","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaig21hZGME8n1","pdf",44973,"English","# Item Answer Table\n# Short Answer Rubrics and Explanations\n## Question 5 (Item 11, 2007 8th Grade OAT)\n## Question 10 (Item 27, 8th Grade OAT 2007)","[{\"question\":\"What does “State Performance” mean in the item table?\",\"answer\":\"State Performance is the percentage of students who answered the question correctly in 2007.
