The bill revised section 1008.22, Florida Statutes, to authorize school districts to administer the Classic Learning Test (CLT) in addition to the SAT and ACT. In addition, the bill revised section 1009.531, Florida Statutes, to allow students to be eligible for the Bright Futures Scholarship Program based on CLT scores that concord to equivalent SAT or ACT scores.  \nBoard staff propose amending Regulation 6.008 to meet the needs of students that may take the CLT as authorized in the above statutes.
