Before opera5ng your Ford Performance Dark Horse R, please read and understand this opera5on  \nmanual!  \nThe Dark Horse R is a produc5on based, purpose-built track car that requires proper race prepara5on and maintenance. Prior to usage, \"nut and bolt\" your Dark Horse R. See the vehicle Bill of Materials (BOM) for all torque specifica5ons. This is a process of checking all the nuts, bolts, wiring, belts, hoses, 5res, etc. on your vehicle. I. E., check your 5re pressures, as they will change over 5me and need to be checked before every run. Beyond component specific maintenance, we recommend you regularly perform a “nut and bolt”  \ninspec5on.  \nTo maintain compe55on legality and avoid disqualifica5on, follow the tuning prac5ces and rules as listed where applicable in this manual and in the Dark Horse R Series Technical regula5ons.  \nIt is the user’s responsibility to equip themselves with the proper safety gear, including but not limited to a helmet, balaclava, HANS device, fire suit, gloves, fire shoes, fire-rated undergarments, and other applicable safety gear.  \nBe diligent with the care and maintenance of your vehicle!  \nATTENTION!  \nIt is the sole responsibility of the driver to ensure they fit safely in the vehicle.
