Clovis Community College is a comprehensive 2-year institution of higher learning. I can say with every confidence that no matter your path in life, this College has something for you. The College offers classes of interest, such as Welding for Hobbyists, Woodworking, and a wide variety of physical education classes like water aerobics and weightlifting. If your focus is to complete your general education classes in preparation for transfer to a fouryear institution, CCC’s general education classes are New Mexico Higher Education Department approved, which guarantees transfer to any university in the state of New Mexico.  \nAccreditation is a very important part of the educational processes at CCC. The institution is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Programmatic accreditations ensure a quality experience in anticipation of employment in different disciplines. The College holds accreditation in Nursing through the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN); Radiologic Technology through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT); Physical Therapist Assistant through the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE); and Automotive Technology through the Master Accreditation from Automotive Services Excellence Education Foundation (ASEEF) . The stringent requirements to retain these types of nationwide accreditation mean students within these programs will receive outstanding training opportunities, both in the classroom and clinical experiences. In addition, many individualized programs offer industry certifications such as Computer Information Systems (Networking, Office Specialist) and in the Occupational Technology fields such as Industrial Technology (Wind Energy, Electrical Maintenance), Welding (Entry Level Welder, Advanced Welder) and Cosmetology (Salon Success, Nail Technician).
