The School is very proud of their accomplishments. \nWe celebrate Roddy Dong, Jiadong Li and Lachlan MacLennan who attained the highest possible ATAR of 99. 95, as well as the 24 other students who achieved an ATAR of 99 or more. \nThis means that 14% of our cohort are placed in the top 1% in the State. Melbourne Grammar School’s strong representation at this elite level continues our long history of academic excellence. \nLike most success, academic achievement does not occur by chance. Our students have largely worked with integrity, focus and diligence throughout their time at Melbourne Grammar. Their individual and collective results reflect their perseverance and positive approach. \nThe Class of 2022 has left a positive mark on the School. They have contributed widely and with genuine commitment. They have demonstrated expertise across a broad range of areas including social justice, sport, music, debating, the visual arts and more. \nIn particular, after two years of lockdowns, the Class of 2022 has consistently demonstrated enthusiasm and passion for reconnecting with their fellow students in the traditions, events and activities which make the School so special throughout this year. \nI believe it is the richness and depth of our holistic educational program which leads to such positive outcomes, both in and outside the classroom. \nI would also like to recognise the many fine teachers who have contributed to the boys’ academic achievements, from Prep at Grimwade House, right through to those guiding the boys this year. We are fortunate to have an exemplary body of teaching and professional staff at Melbourne Grammar. Without their expertise and dedication, the excellent 2022 VCE outcomes would not have been possible. \nOf course, there are many measures of success, and an ATAR is only one of them. For many, it is simply a milestone that marks a new beginning. \nIt has been our role to prepare the Class of 2022 for their journey beyond the School gates and instil in them the desire and capacity to consistently seek to improve their own lives and, importantly, that of those around them. \nI have been delighted to walk alongside this remarkable group of young men during our shared time at Melbourne Grammar and wish them well in their future endeavours. \nPhilip Grutzner Headmaster \n\\#beyondtheclassroom \nHear from our Year 12 students, past and present, about their interests and aspirations. \n[bit.ly/MGSbeyondtheclassroom](bit.ly/MGSbeyondtheclassroom) \nView the playlist \nMelbourne Grammar School 355 St Kilda Road Melbourne Victoria 3004 \n+61 3 9865 7555 [mgs@mgs.vic.edu.au](mgs@mgs.vic.edu.au) \n[mgs.vic.edu.au](mgs.vic.edu.au) \n2022 VCE \nresults highlights \nATAR OUTCOMES \nTwo hundred Melbourne Grammar School Year 12 students attained the VCE in 2022. \n\n| 99.95\u003Cbr>Three students achieved an ATAR of 99.95.
