No refunds for 1st term classes after November 12, 2021 and for 2nd/3rd term classes March 10, 2022. AP Examinations will be administered during morning and afternoon sessions on May 2-6 and May 9-13, 2022. \nFee Reduction for Financial Need Students \nEach eligible student will be asked to pay $20 per exam. To qualify for this fee reduction, students must be enrolled in Advanced Placement courses and receive either free or reduced-price school lunches or be identified by their high schools as eligible low-income students. \nAP Late Testing \nAP Examinations give all candidates across the nation the same opportunity to demonstrate their achievement only when no one knows the questions in advance. To ensure fairness to all students, late testing using an alternate form of the examination will be allowed only in cases of extreme hardship as outlined below. The late administration must occur within one week of the regularly schedule test window, and all alternate exams for the same subject must be administered at the same time. Late testing dates are May 17-20, 2022. Only those students affected by the conflict may test late; the other students must test on the regularly scheduled date. \nEarly testing is not permitted under any circumstances. Category I instances are generally beyond the control of the school administration and the students. Therefore, there will be no additional fee for using an alternate form of the examination. Category II instances are those in which schools or students generally have a choice between the scheduled date or requesting an alternate date. When Category II reasons are used, the student will be billed an additional $45 for each examination to partially defray the additional development and scoring costs. Students taking alternate exams may have their AP exam grades delayed up to a month (August release) . Students must notify the AP coordinator or their counselors of any Category II conflicts before February 28, 2022. \nCATEGORY I – NO ADDITONAL FEE FOR ALTERNATE EXAM \n• Academic/educational or athletic contests/events (national science fairs, band scholarship competitions, etc.) . \n• Forced, official school closing on test date due to natural disasters, religious holidays/observances, strikes, or elections. \n• Unexpected, serious emergencies (bomb scares, fire alarms, serious injuries, illnesses or family tragedies) . \n• Candidate has three or more AP exams scheduled on the same date. \n• Candidate has two AP exams scheduled on the same date and time. \n• Conflict with state-mandated tests. \nCATEGORY II- $45 ADDITIONAL PER STUDENT FOR EACH ALTERNATE EXAM \n• Contractual labor conflicts at school (e.g., school must be locked up after a certain hour) . \n• Local decision to close school (unused snow day, etc.) . \n• Conflict with other non-AP examinations being administered at the school. \n• Family/Personal conflict \n• Ordering Error \nLATE TESTING MAY NOT BE PERMITTED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS \n• Senior class trips or breakfasts, proms, field trips, school assemblies.","cbCairppnijUWVhg","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCairppnijUWVhg","pdf",124778,"English","# Student Registration and Fees\n## Fee Reduction for Financial Need Students\n## AP Late Testing\n### Category I - No Additional Fee for Alternate Exam\n### Category II - $45 Additional Per Student for Each Alternate Exam\n## Reasons Late Testing May Not Be Permitted","[{\"question\":\"How do students register for 2022 AP exams and when are the registration windows?\",\"answer\":\"Students register by going to the LOHS website, selecting LOHS Counseling, choosing AP Testing Registration, and then Register for AP Exams.
