The SAT is an objective, multiple-choice test that measures Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and Math reasoning abilities. \nCaution should be exercised when using the results to rank or rate teachers, schools, or districts because they constitute only one measure and are not inclusive of all students. \nThe released data represent a subset of the entire student population, meaning that the results reflect only students tested, rather than the entire graduating class. It should be noted that college-bound students have the option to choose between the ACT or SAT for college admissions. Additionally, some students take the SAT in order to earn a concordant score for graduation requirements and not solely for the purpose of college admissions. \nSAT scores range from 200-800. Tables 1 through 5 show the results. \n• Table 1 shows the district level results compared to the state and nation. \n• Table 2 shows the participation rate over time. \n• Table 3 shows the mean scores and participation rate by race/ethnicity. \n• Table 4 shows school level data. \n• Table 5 shows participation rate by High School. \nTable 1 \nSAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and Math Mean Score Comparison \n\n| | FY22\u003Cbr>Evidence-Based Reading and Writing | FY23\u003Cbr>Evidence-Based Reading and Writing | FY22 Math | FY23 Math |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| District | 505 | 501 | 462 | 457 |\n| Florida | 510 | 503 | 473 | 463 |\n| Nation | 529 | 520 | 521 | 508 |\n\nTable 2 \nFY22-FY24 Participation Rates for District, State, and Nation \n\n| | FY22 | | FY23 | |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| | N | % | N | % |\n| District | 3,335 | 96% | 3,548 | 100% |\n| Florida | 190,427 | 87% | 205,159 | 90% |\n| Nation | 1,737,678 | 53% | 1,913,742 | -- |\n\n*Participation rate is calculated based on the total 12th graders in Survey 3 FY22 = 3 ,483 , FY23 = 3,486 \nTable 3 \nCollege-Bound Senior SAT Test Takers: Mean Scores and Participation Rate by Race/Ethnicity \nWHITE STUDENTS \n\n| FISCAL YEAR | FY22 | FY23 |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| Number | 997 | 975 |\n| Part.
