In 2016, Cabernet Sauvignon from the Baker vineyard in Atlas Peak was back in harness, showing elegance and structure. Windy Flats vineyard again had intense flavors and Beau Terre provided the color and structure. Small lots of Petit Verdot and Malbec were useful together building depth and complexity. They have wonderful individuality that would be lost in a big blend, so the Red Door can give them a place to show off.
