But his companions, Silas and Timothy, had not yet arrived there.  \nIn Corinth, Paul met a Jewish man named Aquila and his wife Priscilla. They had just recently come to Corinth from Rome.  \nPriscilla and Aquila were tentmakers like Paul was. Paul stayed and worked with them. Every Sabbath Paul spoke in the Jewish synagogue. There he tried to persuade both Jews and Greeks to believe in Jesus.  \nThen Silas and Timothy arrived in Corinth. After that, Paul used all his time to preach to the Jews about Jesus the Messiah.  \nBut the Jews opposed Paul. So Paul said,“Whatever happens to you will be your own fault! I am not responsible.
