An outstanding effort by all students involved and your commitment and enthusiasm is at the heart of what inspires us to produce such a remarkable performance. \nA heartfelt thanks goes to Mr Andrew Neal, Mr Kevin Richardson and the teaching community of Bacchus Marsh Grammar for supporting this production. They have allowed our program to proceed through challenging times, understanding the importance of our production for our students, staff and the wider community. A thank you to all of the BMG staff who assisted in various roles and capacities, as well as a special acknowledgement to the Tarabene Family for volunteering their time and adding their artistic flare to our lead costumes. \nWe must personally acknowledge the outstanding effort of our teachers who form our Production for their unwavering energy, commitment, and resourcefulness in the making of this musical. A special thank you and much affection to our Performing Arts Team who endlessly support our creative process. \nAs we return to performing live on stage, we must cherish the beauty of this time as performers and as audience. We hope you enjoyed the show! \nPlease view more photos via Schoolbox. \nMs Elyse Zahra & Mrs Narelle Pritchard \nBMG Office Hours during Term Break \nWoodlea Campus Reception will be closed from Monday 19 September and reopen on Monday 3 October. Maddingley Campus Administration Office Hours are 9.30am to 3.30pm from Monday 19 September to Friday 30 September. It will be closed on the Public Holidays – Thursday 22 and Friday 23 September. \nThe Podium \nAchieving Optimal Academic Performance-Why Camps are so important to Academic Success. \nDuring Term Four, many year level camps will have the opportunity to proceed again after the last two years of COVID “shutdowns” and cancellations. Many parents often question the necessity of school camps. Why do my children need to attend? Is there any benefit in camping under canvas? The high ropes course is too dangerous! The purpose of school camps, as well as being fun and giving students the opportunity to socialise in an educational setting, is to push students beyond their comfort zones. The activities are unfamiliar and challenging, being away from family may be unfamiliar and, at times, uncomfortable and working in teams may be unfamiliar. Life sends us many unfamiliar situations and challenges for which we must be prepared to be brave and have a go. The skills learnt on camp and in the outdoors are directly transferable to the classroom and the academic setting and are vital in preparing our children for the challenges that life will “throw at them.” Life is full of uncertainty and we need to ensure we aid the journey of development and give our young people opportunities to be brave, to have a go and accept the situation when it does not turn out as they had hoped. \nAs young people embark on unfamiliar activities, like those attempted on school camps, teachers and parents should first show what needs to be done, if necessary, assist the student to do it and then let the child work independently. Each step is critical to allowing the student the chance to trust in their own ability and believe in themselves. This is very much part of the Teaching and Learning Framework applied in the academic classroom,“I do, We do, You do.” I wish all staff and students a wonderful time in Term Four as they once again head out on Year Level Camps and encourage parents to think about some of the great benefits of school camps which clearly involves improving academic abilities. \nFive great benefits of school","cbCain0TUmzITskL","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCain0TUmzITskL","pdf",2901980,"English","# Disney Beauty and the Beast Jr\n## Community thanks and show reflections\n# BMG Office Hours during Term Break\n## Woodlea Campus reception closure\n## Maddingley Campus administration hours\n# The Podium\n## Achieving Optimal Academic Performance: Why Camps are so important to Academic Success\n# Language achievements\n## 100% speaking assessments in French and Japanese","[{\"question\":\"What is the focus of the newsletter’s opening section?\",\"answer\":\"It celebrates the Middle School Musical Beauty and the Beast Jr, highlighting student effort and community support, along with thanks to staff and volunteers.\"},{\"question\":\"How are Woodlea and Maddingley office hours affected during the Term Break?\",\"answer\":\"Woodlea Campus reception closes from Monday 19 September and reopens Monday 3 October.
