The beggar asks them for money, but Peter instead acts in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, commanding him to get up and walk. Instantly strengthened, the man rises, enters the temple, and praises God, stunning those who knew him.","153 A Lame beggar Is Healed \nActs 3:1-4:4 \nEnglish Spiritual \n153 A Lame beggar Is Healed \nEnglish \n© 2020 Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc. \n[http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/) \nYou are free to make commercial use of this work. He was sitting by the gate called Beautiful, at the entrance to the temple where he begged for money. \nWhen he saw Peter and John about to go into \nthe temple, he asked them,“Sirs, please give” \nme some money. \nPeter said to him,“Look at us!” So he looked directly at them, expecting to get some money from them. Then Peter said to him,“I do not have any money, but what I can do I will do for you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you are healed. Get up and walk!” \nThen Peter grasped the man’s right hand and helped him to stand up. That moment, theman’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped up and began to walk! \nThen he entered the Temple with them, walking, jumping and praising God! When the people saw him doing that and recognized him as the beggar who had been lame, they were all amazed!","cbCail1VGG1b1Ph6","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCail1VGG1b1Ph6","pdf",2910619,1,20,"English","en",105,"# Story of Healing at the Temple Gate\n## Meeting the Lame Beggar\n## Prayer Hour and the Healing Command\n## Walking, Praising, and Amazement","[{\"question\":\"What scripture passage does this story cover?\",\"answer\":\"It covers Acts 3:1–4:4, focusing on events around the temple during the hour of prayer.\"},{\"question\":\"Why was the beggar at the gate called Beautiful?\",\"answer\":\"He had been unable to walk from birth and sat by the gate to beg for money at the temple entrance.\"},{\"question\":\"How does the healing happen in the story?\",\"answer\":\"Peter tells the man to look at them and, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, commands him to get up and walk.
