It follows two followers walking to Emmaus, discussing recent events in Jerusalem. Jesus joins them without being recognized, asks what they are talking about, and invites reflection on his life, death, and the hope of Israel’s deliverance.","150 On the Road to Emmaus \nLuke 24:9-35 \nEnglish Spiritual \n150 On the Road to Emmaus \nEnglish \n© 2020 Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc. \n[http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/) \nYou are free to make commercial use of this work. But the disciples found this news difficult to believe. \nOn that same day, two of Jesus’ followers were walking to the village of Emmaus. As they walked along they were talking about everything that had happened. \nAs they were talking, Jesus came up and walked with them. But the two men did not realize who he was. \nJesus asked,“What were you talking about just now?” They stood still and looked very sad. They asked,“Don’t you know what has recently happened in Jerusalem?” \nThen they explained,“Jesus of Nazareth was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God. But our chief priests and rulers had him arrested and sentenced to die on a cross.” \n“We were hoping that he was the one who would save Israel. Some women from our group went to the burial chamber early this morning, but the body of Jesus was not there.”","cbCaihN2HBz7G5Ny","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaihN2HBz7G5Ny","pdf",2879776,1,19,"English","en",105,"# Story of Luke 24:9-35\n## Women report the resurrection\n## Two followers travel to Emmaus\n## Jesus joins and questions them","[{\"question\":\"What message do Mary Magdalene and other women share with the disciples?\",\"answer\":\"They tell the disciples that Jesus has risen.
