One night, Nicodemus came to Jesus.“Rabbi, we know you are a teacher come from God,” said Nicodemus.“Only a man from God is able to do the miracles that you do.”  \nJesus replied,“I tell you the truth, unless aman is born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”  \n“How can a man be born when he is old?” asked Nicodemus.“Certainly, he is not able to enter into his mother’s womb a second time and be born!”  \n“I tell you the truth,” Jesus replied.“Unless aman is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. A person is born physically of human parents, but is born spiritually of the Spirit.”  \n“How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.“You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus,“and you do not understand these things? I have told you about things here on earth, but you do not believe me.
