Then Jesus sent them out to tell others about God’s kingdom and to heal the sick.  \nWhen the disciples returned to where Jesus was, he said to them,“Let’s go away to a quiet place where we can be alone and rest.”  \nSo Jesus and his disciples started out in a boat by themselves to a remote place. But the crowds saw them sailing away and heard where they were going.  \nMany people saw them leave and went from all the local towns, running ahead by land. The people arrived at the place ahead of Jesus and his disciples.  \nWhen Jesus got out of the boat, he saw this large crowd and he felt pity for them.  \nJesus welcomed the crowd and had compassion on them.
