The narrative describes John’s physical and spiritual growth, his desert lifestyle, and his distinctive clothing and diet. It then focuses on God’s message to John and the historical context under Emperor Tiberius, with Pilate and Herod identified. John preaches across the Jordan region, urging people to turn back to God and be baptized for forgiveness.","105 John the Baptizer \nMatt. 3:1-12 Mark 1:2-8 Luke 1:57-60 Luke \n1:80 Luke 3:1-17 John 1:19-27 \nEnglish Spiritual \n105 John the Baptizer \nEnglish \n© 2020 Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc. \n[http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/) \nYou are free to make commercial use of this work.
